Rainbow Assembly of the Year Award 2010
This award will be
a collection of points given throughout the year for different tasks
that are preformed. This award will be given at Grand Assembly as a
traveling trophy.
A
Essay
Each Assembly will write at
least a three-page essay no more than five-pages on
what their Assembly has
accomplished throughout the year. This should include
what they have achieved on
the Grand Worthy Advisors plans and projects as
well as all the events that
the Assembly has accomplished on its own.
Content - The overall content of the
essay should be goals and achievements of the
assembly
as well as the State Achievements on the special projects etc.
also
include personal achievements of girls but have a broad scope of
things
in essay. This should be done by the girls as a whole not
individually.
Organization, grammar
and Neatness - The essay should be neatly hand written or typed
and organized
in a logical order. Grammar and punctuation should be accurate.

you don’t enter an essay you get minus 200

C Brag Rags
Each girls that wears
their brag rags to the Official Visit (must be worn during the
whole meeting) will
receive 25 points.
If everyone attending
that official visit has their brag rags on you will get an extra
100 points
D Miss Rainbow
The
winning assembly of Miss Rainbow will receive
100 points
Each assembly in the court will receive 50
points
Each assembly bringing in more than $1000.00 will receive
50 points
If your
assembly does not bring in at least $1000.00 it is
minus 75 points
If you do not participate it is
minus 100 points
E Pennies for the special project
The
assembly that collects the most will get
150points

If you do not
participate it is minus 75 points
If
participate you get 100 points
F Membership
For
each girl initiated throughout the year you will receive
100 points.
Any assembly
that brings in 10 girls or more gets an extra
250 points.
G Rainbow Newspaper
Each girl that puts an article in the newspaper gets
75 points for the assembly
Each assembly that puts in an article gets 50
points
If your
assembly or a girl from your assembly does not participate at least two
times it’s minus 75
Points.
H Rainbow Website
Each assembly that has an individual web
site created through our Website for their own assembly will receive but
you must keep it up to date also all year long
80 points
It must be updated once a quarter!
Minus 20 points per quarter if not
updated
If you do not have an assembly web site
by Grand Assembly then Minus 100 points
I Mother of the year award
Each girl that sends in a mother of the
year letter to Mom Hardison will receive for her assembly
50 points
J Adult Workshop
Each adult that attends will get 25 points
for their assembly
K Christmas Party
Each girl that wears Christmas Hat
on will get 25 points for
their assembly.
Each adult that wears a bell will
get 20 points for their assembly.
Each pledge or younger that wears a
Christmas socks will get 10 point
for their assembly.
L Christmas Service Project
Each assembly that
helps a family in need for Christmas (Must report this and give name of
family that you helped).
200 points
M Ritualistic
Each girl that participates
in ritualistic competition will get 50 points
for their assembly
Each Assembly that participates in the Assembly competition will get
100 points.
N Special Project
A.
Each assembly that attend the Shepherd Center Kick-off will receive 250
points for participating.
B.
Have a fund raising event specifically
for Shepherd Center and get 350 Points
C. Do both and receive an extra
150 points.
D. Bring children's books and get
200 points for each time your
assembly brings them to a state function.

remember anything you wear must be within
the rainbow Dress Code.
P Georgia’s Traveling Rainbow Fish
There are Four Rainbow Fish of Georgia.
One for north, south, and middle Georgia.
These Traveling Rainbow Fish will be
dropped off to an Assembly. This year you have
30 days to get rid of the Rainbow Fish if you want points. If
your assembly delivers the Rainbow Fish within
30 days then your Assembly will get
250 points. If within 30 days
you have not delivered the Rainbow Fish to another assembly you will
loose 250 points. You can NOT
take the Treble Rainbow Fish back to the assembly that delivered them to
you for 60 days. These Rainbow
Fish need to move around all over the State and not just move around a
few assemblies. Please make sure you email Michelle Pyrtle or Gena
Kelley to let them know you have delivered Rainbow Fish. If you don’t
you may not get your points. Please if you can not make this move let
us know so we can help you move them so other assemblies can
participate. Please remember your fellow Rainbow Girls!
Q Tree of Wisdom
Throughout the year we will have the
girls turn in their favorite "Words of Wisdom" to put on display at
Grand Assembly on Georgia Rainbow's own Tree of Wisdom. Each girl that
turns in a Words of Wisdom will earn 100
points for her Assembly. Turn these in to Katy or Mrs.
Keating.
R. Service
These
points will be given for service inside or outside of Rainbow. A girl or
Assembly may earn points for service in their community. The assembly
may earn points by doing service as a group. This must be turned with
the following information to receive your points: The date of service
project, the place or service project preformed, the amount of time it
took, the number of girls that participated. The Girls may earn points
for her Assembly if she performs some type of service outside of rainbow
with her school, church, and her family or just by her self. To get
points for her Assembly she must include the following: The date of
service, the place of service or service performed who she went with,
the amount of time she spent and she must put this in a two paragraph
form short paper to be sent to Michelle Pyrtle before Grand Assembly.
This must be for each service preformed.

S. GRAB CAMP
Each
girl that comes to camp gets 50 points
for your assembly. Each adult that comes to camp get
25 points for your assembly. If all
girls are present that are on roll you get an extra
150 points. (BRING YOUR ROLLS TO
SHOW YOUR ACTIVE GIRLS AND THE COUT TO GET THESE POINTS).
