Eligibility:
To be a Rainbow Girl you must be between the ages of 11 and 21 years old. You may be a daughter of a Master Mason; an Eastern Star, an Amaranth member, a majority member, or you may be a friend of a Rainbow Girl. A Master Mason, Eastern Star or Amaranth member must sponsor all applicants. Most importantly, you must be of good moral character, and profess an abiding faith in a Supreme Being.

The Process:
Ask a Rainbow member you know to get you a "petition" or application for membership. Once the Petition is received it must first be reviewed by the Advisory Board, and then by the Assembly. When the Petition is accepted, a committee of three people will visit the prospective member and her parents at their home. The chief purpose of this visit is to provide the parents and the prospective member with more information about Rainbow and to answer any questions. You'll submit the completed petition to the local Assembly, and after balloting upon your request, you'll be invited to participate in an Initiation Ceremony that impresses an obligation on young women to live a good life and do right. This ceremony is by far one of the most impressive presentations a girl can experience.

Don't know a local Rainbow member? Call Shirley Douglas to assistance in finding Rainbow near you. (770)-943-3269

Pledge Groups:
Not yet 11, but interested in Rainbow? Many local Assemblies have "Pledge Groups" for girls age 7 and up.

Rainbow Is For You!
Becoming a Rainbow Girl can change your life for the better! You will become a member of an organization for girls who share your hopes and dreams. You will become associated with other young women who "look to the end of the Rainbow" for a positive and rewarding future. Most importantly, when you learn to live by the teachings of Rainbow, you will become a better person.
